Welcome to Metra ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Metra mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Posting a notice in the App
Sending an email to your registered email address
Displaying a notification when you next access the App
Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
You must be at least:
13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), or
16 years old if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA)
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:
A valid email address
A secure password
Your full name
Date of birth
Optional profile information
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information to maintain its accuracy.
Metra offers the following subscription options:
Monthly Subscription: Starting at €7.99 per month
Annual Subscription: Starting at €79.99 per year
Prices may vary by region based on local currency conversion and applicable taxes.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your payment method will be charged within 24 hours prior to the start of each new subscription period.
Payments are processed through:
iOS: Apple App Store (subject to Apple's Terms of Service)
Android: Google Play Store (subject to Google's Terms of Service)
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period after the notice period. Continued use of the Services after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
We may offer free trial periods for new subscribers. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. We reserve the right to limit free trial eligibility.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Metra
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period.
Refund requests are handled according to the policies of your payment provider:
Apple App Store: Subject to Apple's refund policy
Google Play Store: Subject to Google's refund policy
Metra does not process refunds directly. Contact your payment provider's customer support for refund requests.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the Services for any commercial purpose without our written permission
Rent, lease, loan, sell, or distribute access to the Services
Create derivative works based on the Services
We strive to maintain continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate access for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
You retain all ownership rights to content you post, share, or upload to the Services ("User Content"). This includes:
Workout logs and fitness data
Posts, comments, and messages
Photos, videos, and other media
Profile information
By posting User Content, you grant Metra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:
Use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content within the Services
Modify or adapt your User Content for technical compatibility
Create derivative works for the purpose of improving the Services
This license terminates when you delete your User Content or account, except where content has been shared with other users.
You agree that your User Content will not:
Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
Harass, threaten, or harm others
Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
Contain viruses, malware, or harmful code
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
Violate the privacy rights of others
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to:
Monitor and review User Content
Remove or refuse to post User Content that violates these Terms
Take action against users who violate these Terms
You are solely responsible for backing up your User Content. We are not responsible for loss or corruption of your User Content.
You agree not to:
Use the Services for any illegal purpose
Violate any local, national, or international laws
Facilitate or promote illegal activities
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users
Engage in bullying or hate speech
Stalk or otherwise violate privacy rights
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other user accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities in the Services
Circumvent security measures or authentication protocols
Send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications
Engage in phishing, scamming, or fraudulent activities
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Manipulate or falsify fitness data
Use the Services for commercial purposes without permission
Scrape or harvest data from the Services
Use automated systems (bots) to access the Services
Resell or redistribute access to the Services
Post content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights
Use others' intellectual property without permission
The health, fitness, and nutritional content provided through the Services is for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended as:
Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
A substitute for professional medical consultation
Personalized health or fitness guidance
Before starting any new exercise, nutrition, or wellness program:
Consult with a qualified healthcare provider
Disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations
Seek immediate medical attention for any health concerns
You acknowledge that:
Physical activity carries inherent risks of injury
You are solely responsible for assessing your fitness level
You should discontinue any activity that causes pain or discomfort
Metra is not liable for any injuries, health issues, or adverse effects resulting from use of the Services
While we strive to provide accurate information:
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content
Health and fitness information may become outdated
Individual results may vary significantly
The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Health, Google Fit, payment processors). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We:
Do not endorse or control third-party content
Are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party sites
Are not liable for any harm resulting from your use of third-party services
User-generated content and third-party contributions are the responsibility of their respective creators. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of such content.
The Services, including all content, features, functionality, software, code, designs, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Metra or its licensors and are protected by:

Trademark laws
Patent laws

Other intellectual property rights
You may not, without our prior written permission:
Use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements
Copy, modify, or create derivative works
Publicly display or perform our content

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Services:

You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to implement your suggestions

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METRA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or data loss
Injuries or health issues arising from use of the Services
Actions of third parties or other users
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed:
The amount you paid to Metra in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
€100, whichever is greater
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Metra and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:
Your use of the Services
Your User Content
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of third parties
Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, at your expense.
You may terminate your account at any time by:
Using the account deletion feature in the App
Contacting our support team at info@metra.al
Upon termination:
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
You will lose access to premium features after the period ends
Your User Content may be deleted (subject to our data retention policies)
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without notice, if:
You violate these Terms
You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
Your account has been inactive for an extended period
We discontinue the Services
Upon termination:
Your right to use the Services immediately ceases
We may delete your account and User Content
Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution)
If we terminate your account for violation of these Terms, you will not be entitled to any refund of unused subscription fees.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at info@metra.al. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except:
Small claims court actions
Claims for injunctive relief
Intellectual property disputes
YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sweden.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and Metra regarding the Services.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Metra.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, or internet failures.
Notices to you may be sent to the email address associated with your account or posted in the App. You should send notices to us at info@metra.al.
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country.
By using the Services, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including emails, push notifications, and in-app messages. These communications are part of your relationship with us and you agree that they satisfy any legal requirement for written communications.
These Terms may be translated into other languages for your convenience. In the event of any conflict, the English version shall prevail.
If you access the Services through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce these Terms against you.
Your use of the App must comply with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
If you access the Services through Google Play, the following additional terms apply:

Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
Google is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
Your use of the App must comply with Google's Terms of Service.
